Created during Operation Cast Lead, the official blog of the Israel Defense Forces contains news and updates from the field, including announcements, images and videos. The blog is updated and maintained by the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, the Israel Defense Forces’ professional body responsible for media and public relations in Israel and around the world.
Our aim is to make information about the IDF easily accessible to those who are interested. We also would like the blog to serve as a reserve of material relating to the IDF, and provide transparency to IDF activities, operations, and intelligence.
